Apologia Pro Vita Sua

Becoming present is always an act against gravity...

Two Principles on the road to Recognition…

I have the right to be seen!
I deserve to be acknowledged!

The principle is this: we pay for what we receive.
The principle is this: where we have a right, we have an obligation.

If we feel we are not receiving what we deserve, good to check whether we have paid in advance.
Where we feel our right is not being honoured, good to see whether we have honoured our obligation.

If we pay attention to others, we discover they become more likely to pay attention to us.
Attention is a high form of currency, and a high form of currency exchange.

When we are present, we see others and we are, ourselves, seen by others who are themselves present.
When we are present, we find that we have no demand to be seen, to be acknowledged.

Seeing, knowing that I Am is enough: what is lower in me sees and acknowledges what is Higher in me.

If I am not being seen, perhaps good to check whether I am myself present – here, now.

So where does the demand to be seen and acknowledged begin? Where does it live in us? What is its need?
